BEST Color UPGRADE for Side and Front Grille - Land Rover Discovery 4 or LR4

Hello! In this episode, I'm going to repaint or redesign the side air intake and grille of my Land Rover Discovery 4 / LR4. The silver of the two parts provided a nice contrast to black, but I found the color out of place in relation to the other parts like the lettering or door handles. Since these are painted in a steel gray metallic, I really wanted the grille and side air intakes to be the same or close to the same color. After disassembly, both parts were sanded with 240 and 600 grit sandpaper. Then dusted with brake cleaner and then painted 2x with the metallic color and 2x with a transparent color. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The paint I used: (affiliate links) Dupli-Color https://amzn.to/47XUsfv metallic Dupli-Color https://amzn.to/3vXN9Hi as transparent protection paint ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Most of the work was sanding the edges and corners. But otherwise everything went smoothly. Now, I think, everything matches well color-wise. And maybe I will repaint the door handles and the lettering on the hood and trunk.
