It is a compact, lightweight standard zoom which covers an ultra-wide 20mm to 70mm. at the light weight of 488 grams it suits all the new Sony Alpha Full Frame models and can be mounted to any APS-C camera with the versatile sony e-mount. the outstanding image quality is consistent throughout the focal range with 2 advanced aspherical elements, 3 extra-low dispersion glass, 1 extra dispersion aspherical lens and 1 aspherical lens. This lens maximises your cameras auto focus for both still and video. with its two XD linear motors with has an increased focus speed of up to 60% and 2 times improved tracking performance. The lens has reduced focus breathing, reduced focus shift while zooming, reduced axis shift while zooming and supports active steady shot in camera.
