Touring the Pyramids is a real experience. We had hired horses from an outfit on the near side of the Pyramids. The 'guide' conveniently dropped us off at the far side where another guy was patiently waiting to have us pay him to take us back to where we started. The Pyramids are amazing. If you get a chance they are an absolute 'Must see' !! One of my favorite moments was the guy they had set up to 'meet us' and sell us bottles of warm orange soda. I gave mine back to him, after buying it, and he had his donkey drink it. It was worth the price of the soda to watch the donkey guzzle it down !!
