It has been 4 years since France Gall retired from the scene. In 1991, Michel Berger convinced her to sing again. She accepts but she does not want to carry on her shoulders the weight of a record and a tour. She suggests that they finally offer themselves this joint album project that they had always delayed. Thus was born Double Jeu, nine months later. Ten songs written and composed by Michel Berger, and entirely produced by the couple, surrounded by their closest musicians. The record was released in mid-June 1992, six weeks before Michel's unexpected death. The red thread interview of this document has never been fully broadcast. This is a compilation of excerpts taken from various television portraits. It is Michel Berger's very last substantial interview for television. The quality of sound and image is uneven. Cela faisait 4 ans que France Gall s’était retirée de la scène. En 1991, Michel Berger l’a convainc de chanter à nouveau. Elle accepte mais elle ne souhaite pas porter sur ses seules épaules le poids d’un disque et d’une tournée. Elle suggère qu’ils s’offrent enfin ce projet d’album commun qu’ils avaient toujours repoussé. Ainsi naît Double Jeu, neuf mois plus tard. Dix chansons écrites et composées par Michel Berger, et entièrement produites par le couple, entourés de leurs plus fidèles musiciens. Le disque sort mi-juin 1992, six semaines avant la disparition inopinée de Michel. L’interview fil-rouge de ce document n’a jamais été intégralement diffusée. Il s’agit ici d’une compilation d’extraits repris dans divers portraits télévisés. Elle constitue la toute dernière interview conséquente de Michel Berger pour la télévision.
