The Twisp River Fire in August 2015 burned nearly 12,000 acres in Central Washington. Firefighter Daniel Lyon got caught in it. He ran for his life to escape the rapidly spreading fire and was burned on more than 60% of his body. Daniel went to Harborview Medical Center, the only hospital in Washington that can care for patients with severe burns.
