2025 Creative Edinburgh Awards - Short Film by Paula Nahr

On Friday 14 November 2025, the Creative Edinburgh Awards ceremony took place at Central Hall, Tollcross, celebrating the city’s vibrant creative community. Thirty-five finalists - representing individuals, projects, and organisations - were shortlisted across eight distinct categories. Paula Nahr is an experimental filmmaker and social impact producer working at the intersection of cinema, identity, and human vulnerability. Paula has created a cinematic video capturing the spirit of the evening. From the anticipation before the ceremony to the celebrations of our award winners, her work tells the story of a community coming together to recognise excellence and innovation.
