A look at the cassette mechanism in this vintage top loading Sanyo cassette deck. The video takes a look at the tape head, capstan and flywheel, pinch wheel, auto stop along with showing how it works. An update to the video is that I fitted a new pinch wheel which made a massive difference to the bad wow and flutter. It wasn't a simple job, the pin through the centre of the wheel was firmly attached at one end so couldn't be removed. I had to bend the metal carrier open to get old old one out then bend it back again after fitting the new pinch wheel.
