It needs a spa day, as well as a new spark plug boot, spark plug, blower tube, fuel filter, and a thorough carburetor clean and rebuild to restore it to its former glory. Try on some gloves. Take off that spark plug boot. Clean your room. Open the windows, those fumes are nasty. Just 'cause I do it, don't think it's the end all, be all solution.
