Sorry the video is a bit out of frame -- I didn't have my camera turned the correct way. I will get better, I promise! :) For more information: Blog: http://naturallyintrigued.com *** DISCLAIMERS: I am not a medical doctor and this is not to be considered medical advice. Please consult with your doctor before beginning any natural/medical treatment if you have any concerns or special circumstances regarding your skin. I own all rights to this video. I personally produced this video using my own camera and equipment. I am only person speaking, and there is no music.**** You can use this serum on your face, around your eyes (but do not get it in your eyes; it may burn), neck, decolletage...basically, any place you want to address anti-aging concerns. This serum will stay fresh, if refrigerated, for about 2-3 weeks. It should have a clear appearance - like water. DISCARD if it starts to appear yellow, or it has turned brown - it has oxidized and can be damaging to your skin! Application: Use morning and night AFTER cleansing and toning (if you use a toner). Shake well, and while your skin is still damp, squeeze approximately 1/2 dropper of the serum into the palm of your hand, rub hands together slightly and pat (NEVER RUB!) gently onto damp skin - over the areas you want to cover. Allow it to set for a couple of minutes before applying any other products to make sure it has fully absorbed into your skin. Follow with a good moisturizer and sunscreen. I might do a demonstration video for this soon, if enough people are interested. Here's where I purchased my ingredients: Vitamin C Crystals - Whole Foods Market: $9.99 for the 4.4 oz bottle Rose Water - any Asian market. Mine came from an Indian grocery store in my area. $3.99 Vegetable Glycerin - Whole Foods: around $6 (I think...can't remember) for the 4 oz bottle Jason Vitamin E oil - Whole Foods: around $12 Glass mixing bottle with dropper: Whole Foods - $3 It sure beats paying $40-$100 for a commercially prepared serum!!! If you have never used a Vitamin C serum or product before, it is best to start with a lower percentage concentration, as Vitamin C in excess can be irritating to the skin. Begin with 5% for 2-3 weeks, and then gradually transition to a higher percentage. Do not exceed a 15-20% solution. 5% Vitamin C Serum: (sufficient for a 2 oz. dropper bottle) Dissolve 1/4 tsp Vitamin C crystals/powder (L-ascorbic acid) in 4 1/2 tsp rose water/distilled water Once fully dissolved, add 1/2 tsp glycerin Add 1-3 drops of pure Vitamin E oil (optional) FEATURED -- 10% Vitamin C Serum with Vitamin E (optional) Recipe: *** Measurements featured in the video make enough to fill a 2 oz dropper bottle (...actually, it overflows a bit, so the measurements below have been cut in half).
