So this is the first battle of mine of my own Monocolor tournament, a battle against ThePrinceofSummoning. He's just getting started again in competitive Pokemon, so please don't be too hard on him. I chose Green for this tournament, and he chose White so let's get it on and see what happens! Just some notes about some of the Pokemon I chose... Looking over White, I really was fearing Gallade. For this reason, I brought in Celebi (and old favorite from my earlier battles) and Yanmega. They seemed to work out okay for me. But will it be enough to win? Or will his surprise X-Scissor hurt me a bunch? Will I advance to Round 2??? Watch to find out! Anyway, leave a comment about whether you prefer tabletop games or video games. Oh, and before anyone asks, Bronzong is considered Green in the Pokedex, so it is considered Green for the tournament. A possible explanation is that in Japanese culture, some shades of Blue are considered Green. Interestingly enough, different cultures often have different perceptions of color. In fact, there was no English word for "Orange" until the fruit was discovered, it was simply referred to as "red-yellow" or something like that. If you go to Japan, you will find that their Green lights will look rather Blue to us. That's the only explanation I can think of, however. Anyway, my point is, please advise the list on Bulbapedia (found in the original tournament video) to determine Pokemon color. Some colors are counter-intuitive! Round 1 of my Monocolor tournament if you haven't seen it already.
