BuildBlock ICF Sherwin Williams Project Super Floor Install

This week at the Sherwin Williams project, Nick Ruebel, Super Floor USA’s Managing Partner, was out overseeing and helping KBA Constructors install the Super Floor system to this BuildBlock ICF project. This project has 18” steel joists that span across the top with the tray/pan laid across the support bars. There are three bays within the roof of this project, the largest bay spans to 30ft 2” with an 18” joist 3ft on center. The next largest bay is 28.5ft with an 18” joist every 4ft on center. The last bay is 27ft so it has 4ft on center, but due to point load changes it was narrowed to 2ft on center in some areas. The trays are 1ft wide, so it allows for easy design changes if necessary, giving you that flexibility when it’s needed. After the trays are placed, it is then ready for wire mesh reinforcement for when the concrete is poured over the Super Floor system.
