As a summer to remember comes to an end, another long school year is about to begin. Students young and old sleep soundly in bed wondering what new adventures could soon lie ahead. For some kids, the new year is something to fear, but for the students of Hysmith High this new beginning is something to cheer. They’ve been around the block. They’ve done it all before, but this year for them, something unexpected is in store. As the students return for the first day of school, some new kids arrive not caring about the rules. With their whole world rocked by this new group of misfits, the frazzled students scramble to figure out how to fix this. In the midst of figuring out how to live and learn together, they are all soon faced with another storm to weather. Unknown to the kids, a terrible teacher is on the scene, running a very tight ship where order is key. She is the one that year after year many classes before have always come to fear. While the students look to find some sense of normalcy, pressures start to rise amidst all the uncertainty. With rebellion running rampant from the new kids in town, will the school be able to function, or crumble to the ground? Nerds, jocks, and misfits will all find out soon as Xi Chi Delta presents Hysmith High: Clash of ‘02!
