Double Dragon 2 or Double Dragon II: The Revenge is a beat-em-up game that is a direct sequel to the original Double Dragon. The gameplay hasn't changed since the original game and is typical for games of this genre: you go from level to level and beat up enemies, and then, at the end of the level, as usual, fight the boss. The game was released between 1988-1993 on many different platforms such as arcade machines, Sega Genesis, nes or famicon, TurboGrafx-16 or PC Engine and various versions of home computers. In general, all versions of the game did not differ much, some of them had a shorter duration of 4 levels, some already had 8 or even 9 levels, but the story in the game remained virtually unchanged, and only the console TurboGrafx -16 or PC Engine, as it is more commonly accepted to call it, had a long duration of 9 levels, animated cutscenes, updated soundtrack and new graphic design, as well as an extended story, which added the presence of the game is not one but 3 endings, which can be obtained by passing the game on each difficulty (easy, normal and hard). It's not hard to guess that I was very hooked on this version of the game from all of them, and so it was her I decided to pass. Unfortunately, this version of the game was released exclusively in Japan and had an interface, subtitles and voice-overs of cutscenes completely in Japanese, because of which many players have not been able to familiarize themselves with this great version of the game. Therefore, I have not only translated the subtitles into English, but also replaced the voice acting with English. Of course, the voiceover was not made by a professional team and handy tools and somewhere may lack the necessary emotions, but still, I think it's better than nothing, don't you think? So: about the game I will say the following, that having tried all versions of this game, it was the TurboGrafx-16 version that seemed to me the most complete and interesting, forgive me Nintendo and Sega fans. I went through the game for all 3 endings and it was very exciting, so this game definitely deserves its place of honor in the library of good games.
