Hi, I'm Tiffy :) What is your favorite day of the week? Welcome to an episode of What I Eat on the Weekend. The weather has been beautiful, so we have a busy weekend planned with lots of good food! Thursday nights are always my favourite, the anticipation of the weekend coming up puts me in such a great mood. To get myself ready for the weekend, I made a batch of Ginger Milk Tea Sago, an easy one pot recipe that actually helps with blood circulation, plus it is super delicious! Friday I woke up craving Japanese Tamago Sando. I had these in Japan and I was blown away by how creamy and delicious they were. The secret tip is to give the eggs an ice bath after boiling and separating the yolk from the egg white! I paired this with a cup of Yuzu Honey Chrysanthemum Ice Tea and it was PERFECT! I went for a walk with my sister and enjoyed the great weather we have been getting. Then, I ended the night by making Taiwanese Bento Box Style Fried Pork Chops and Noodle Soup. My mom used to make my Taiwanese Pork Chops for dinner at least once a week. It was one of the first recipes I learned to make when I moved out on my own! Saturdays are Dom and I’s date night. This week, we went to Fort Langley and enjoyed brunch at one of our favorite restaurants when we started dating. Then we went to Abbotsford to watch my sister’s puppy race at the Abbotsford Canucks game! After a long and eventful day, we went home and had a bowl of my go-to kai dong noodles and air fryer steak. I have been prepping my mom’s no-knead bread recipe every Saturday for the last few months, and it has been a game-changer! You wake up the next day with the perfect dough, and you can add whatever toppings you like and enjoy it throughout the week! It is so easy and so delicious. Sunday night, my parents came over for a Korean BBQ! While I was waiting for the bread to bake, I marinated some meat and prepped some of my go-to side dishes, Korean Spinach Salad, Korean Bean Sprout Salad, Sweet and Sour Cucumber Salad, and Spicy Korean Cucumber Salad. This meal was so good, and I had so much fun eating and chatting with my parents. Weekends are the perfect time to relax, eat, spend time with friends and family. Thank you for spending the weekend with me, I hope you enjoyed this vlog, and I will see you next week!
