Travel from Krabi to Koh-lipe ➡️ Option 1: Direct Speedboat from krabi - This is the fastest and most convenient option, but it’s expensive. If you’re traveling solo, it can cost you around ₹15,000. If you’re in a group, the price usually drops to about ₹10,000 per person. Option 2: Van + Speedboat (Budget-Friendly) This is what I did. You take a van from Krabi to Pak bara piet (I’ve listed all the pier names over the video.), and from there, you board a speedboat to the island. This option cost me around ₹4,000, and it’s usually under ₹5,000. It’s a slightly longer journey because of the road transfer, but it’s much more affordable and very manageable. A 7ish hour journey The whole process is pretty smooth. piers have multiple counters and local shops across the town where you can buy tickets or ask for help. People there guide you properly regarding the van and boat timings. —————————————————————————— Option 3: Fly to Hat Yai (Closest Airport Option) The closest airport to Koh Lipe is Hat Yai International Airport, located in Hat Yai. From there: • Around 2 hours by road to Pak Bara Pier • Then a 1.5-hour speedboat to Koh Lipe —————————————————————————— One more way to reach Koh Lipe is from Malaysia. From there, it’s just a 1.5-hour speedboat ride. If you need details on how to do it via Malaysia, mention it in the comments and I’ll share the full route.
