🍁 This week, I wandered through the charming Cataract area in Indiana, capturing the cascading Cataract Falls, historic covered bridge, and the lively Autumn Bean Festival. This local flea market and annual Cataract Bean Dinner bring the community together while supporting the Cataract Volunteer Fire Department. Cataract Falls are the largest in southern Indiana, with tiered cascades tumbling gracefully into Mill Creek, while the Cataract Falls Covered Bridge is the only remaining covered bridge in Owen County. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, it’s one of only six surviving Smith truss bridges in Indiana.
