Sora. Donald, and Goofy have woken up after a year of sleeping in Twilight Town and journeyed to Hollow Bastion to meet with their old friends. During a tour of the town that's been rebuilt by them, Organisation XIII appear- at least what's left of them. Sora has no recollection of his time in Castle Oblivion and has no idea who the Organisation is even though he had a hand in the defeat of 3 of them. But their plan is foiled by Sora, who discovers that sentimental items will unlock the gates to new worlds. This episode, we go through the first gate in a new Gummi Ship mini game, and enter the Land of Dragons. Sora reunites with Mushu here, who is in charge of a man named Ping. Ping has been sent to the Chinese Army to stop an invasion and threats to the Emperor's life. But theree's a secret that Sora, Donald, and Goofy must keep- Ping is actually a woman called Mulan. The group completes all of the missions that the general, Shang, gives them. climbing the mountain to try and head off the opposing army. Mushu's quick thinking brings them into a cave where they're attacked by Heartless. When the group leaves the cave, they discover that Shan Yu has already attacked and the village they had stopped in is destroyed. They head further up the mountain to catch him. Shan Yu is filled with darkness and calls countless Heartless to stop them and Ping uses Mushu to set off a firework that causes a landslide. Shang discovers that Ping is Mulan and sends the party away while he returns to the Emperor, but Mulan and the others see Shan Yu alive and head after the army to warn Shang. We're finally back to movies to watch with the episodes! The movie this week is Disney's Mulan (1998). This episode covers the major story beats of the film, but changes them to fit in our main trio.
