It's a cold, crisp morning deep within the Great British countryside. We're out early in Northamptonshire for some deer stalking and management with Ian Harford and Steve Wild Last week on Great British Shooting, Eddie Jones was on pest control duty, explaining the importance of ethical shooting (Click the here to watch now -    • Airgun Hunting: Squirrel Shooting with the...  ) Ian and Steve begin the day with some stalking. Ian saw plenty of animal movement, spotting a roebuck from his highseat. Although, he was on the lookout for a roe doe. However, it has been busy morning for Steve who was able to harvest a roe doe, after seeing a plethora of animal activity. It's now time for Ian and Steve get to work on maintaining the feeders and high seats. They also explain the importance of a holistic approach to game management, showing the hard work that goes into caring for the habitat and wildlife that lives there. Later in the afternoon Steve returns to the same highsest where he was able to successful shoot a roe doe. This is the perfect opportunity for Steve to try out the Pulsar Helion XP50 Thermal Imager. Again Steve is successful in taking out another roe doe. It's been another incredible day for Ian and Steve filled with plenty of exciting moments. This is what Great British Shooting is all about.
