This presentation, presented on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 was part of the 2023 Ted Rogers Centre Heart Failure Symposium. About the speakers: Dr. Jason Fish received his PhD from the University of Toronto in 2006 followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease and the University of California San Francisco from 2006-2010. Since moving back to Toronto in 2010, Dr. Fish and his team explore the mechanisms of gene regulation in the endothelium in health and disease. This includes determining how the endothelium responds to chemotherapeutics to drive heart failure in cancer patients and how diabetes impacts the cardiac microvasculature in models of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. Dr. Fish is the president elect for the North American Vascular Biology Organization. The annual Ted Rogers Centre Heart Failure Symposium, which blends clinical innovations with the latest scientific advances, has grown to become Canada’s largest conference on heart failure. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Learn more about the Centre: https://tedrogersresearch.ca Keep in touch with us: Twitter: @trogersresearch LinkedIn: https://bit.ly/3wt6le3
