This was a FAIL- and a LOT of work.
We had to totally change gears (again) last week, so instead of making more progress on the basement, we moved outside to the garage to complete a project that we've been wanting to do for years. We only had one more day with the concrete saw we borrowed, so it was crunch time to get the garage floor cut for some channel drains we installed. This was step one in a 10 year-in-the-making garage upgrade. It was a lot of work as each drain took about 5-6 hours to complete. We got that April snow storm, so it was a perfect time to pull my car in and test it out to see if the water ran to the troughs. Well..... let's just say that was A LOT of work to still have some massive puddles on the garage floor once all the snow melted. {{sigh}} We're back to the squeegee, but at lease we're not pushing it out the front of the garage anymore. 🤷♀️ So, not a total loss.
