Claudia Lonow: In the Spotlight Actress, Comedian, Writer, director, you name it. She’s done it all. Claudia has no acting experience, when she landed the role of Sid and Karen’s Farigate Teenage Daughter, Diana on the TV drama, Knots Landing. She would appear in over 100 episodes during her 5 years on the long running series…. with some of the most memorable storylines, especially seasons 4 and 5. Claudia didn’t stop there. She did stand up comedy for a while, working across the country and doing some television. Her television-writing career took off when she wrote a semi-autobiographical spec pilot about a former nighttime soap opera television actress who gets sent to rehab, called "Rude Awakening." Showtime bought the show, which ran for 55 episodes. Lonow has been creating and writing television ever since: "Good Girls Don't" for Oxygen; "Accidentally On Purpose" for CBS and "How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest Of Your Life)" for ABC. Lonow completed directing her first short film, (which she also co-wrote) entitled, "Bummed." Tonight she reflects back on a career that is over 45 years, with a mixture of acting, writing, stand up, directing, and you have to believe that the best is still yet to come.
