I figured it was more than time to bring him on for a video and after my recent video about roles I knew we had to actually rank the best roles in Football Manager. I did this a few years ago but to say the match engine has changed would be a dramatic understatement. I am mostly curious though. With all the roles to choose from, and more seemingly added every year, would SYC and myself actually have some favorite roles in common? Or does the tactic you play in FM really dictate what roles you actually prefer. I know we won’t be in sync enough to have the same five roles, but I would also be surprised if it didn’t overlap at all. I would be really surprised. We both study a lot about tactics in Football Manager and I think there are a few clear favorites.
