Today I'm profiling a new home community about 25 minutes from Charlotte in Mint Hill, NC. Whitley Preserve by David Weekley homes offers a selection of wider lots. All homes are built with 2 x 6 exterior walls- which allows for more insulation than the standard 2 x 4 wall. And, many homes here are full brick. David Weekley is building 166 homes here. There is a dense tree canopy surrounding the community, and many of the lots back to these trees. They offer 2 product lines: The Enclave Collection, which are built on the wider 60 foot lots, are full brick, run from around 2300 to 3000 square feet, and are priced from the high $600,000s to the mid $700,000s. The Park Collection are built on 40 foot wide lots, can be full brick, partial brick or fiber cement, run from around 1700 to 2400 square feet, and are priced from the high $400,000s to the mid $500,000s.
