In The Lord of the Rings, the Battle of the Pelennor Fields involves a LOT more activity than I ever realized until I worked on this project. Please enable English subtitles to see some of my commentary. See full description for more details: What with all the forces being mustered from the southern fiefs, all the different forces attacking Minas Tirith, and all the different battles happening elsewhere at the same time, I ended up having to figure out how to show battles on the world stage combined with the detailed battle at Minas Tirith. I ended up doing an inset in the bottom right showing a zoomed in Minas Tirith. But even then, it still ends up being a mess of blobs for all the attacking forces. I'm open to ideas about how to deal with this in future versions of this project.
