Comprehensive Sexuality Education panel discussion at Girish Sant Memorial Event 2025 (Prayas, Pune)

Girish Sant Memorial Event 2025 featured an insightful panel discussion on comprehensive, rights-based and affirmative sexuality education, receiving an amazing response from participants both in person and online. We sincerely thank our panelist - Kalyani from Urja Gurukul School, Sudakshina from ECF India, Sonal from YP Foundation for sharing their on-the-ground experiences, highlighting areas that need change, and offering their visions for the future. During the discussion, we explored how to move beyond tokenistic approaches to sexuality education, focusing on how to embed it meaningfully within our education systems and most importantly, how to center the voices and realities of young people. We were thrilled by the many questions submitted about CSE, some of which we were able to address live.
