Kitten season is officially underway in Arizona, and Heidi’s Village was featured on CW7 Arizona’s Daily Mix to discuss what this surge means for vulnerable newborn kittens across the state. During kitten season, animal welfare organizations experience a dramatic increase in orphaned and medically fragile neonatal kittens who require specialized, around-the-clock care. Without foster homes and community support, many of these tiny kittens would not survive.
