The Hot Boyz was a rap group formed in 1997, consisting of Lil Wayne, Juvenile, BG , and Turk. The name “Hot Boyz” was derived from a Magnolia projects street crew of hustlers and gangsters that ran uptown New Orleans in the late 80's and early 90's. The original Hot Boys were Terrence "Gangsta" Williams (Brother of Cash Money CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams) , Sterling, Mosquito, and Dooney. He started his career with the Hot Boyz and later achieved immense solo success with albums like "Tha Carter" series. B.G. (Baby Gangsta): B.G. was another original member of the Hot Boyz. He had solo success with albums like "Chopper City in the Ghetto." Turk: Turk was the fourth member of the Hot Boyz. He had solo success with albums like "Young & Thuggin'" but faced legal issues that interrupted his career.
