Its one of those crazy rare mornings, where we got a tonne of snow both on the previous day, and overnight, and now that the storm is over, the sun is actually out! There's 40 cm of fresh snow, and I'm after technical tree lines! Join me for a morning of glorious powder riding, showing off the best conditions Blackcomb has to offer, whilst showcasing this premium swallow tail Super Fish Gentemstick. Its rare for us to get this much snow in one sitting, especially on a low tide season such as this one. I think this was the only true 40cm day we got all season. So its always super special to get out and and experience the magic! The snow was dense and thick, but that made it very plush and cushy to ride. It was the perfect density that you could really manage your speed in the trees, and make some very quick last minute turns. After a few laps mid mountain, Seventh Heaven opened up, and I was super lucky to be one of the first down the Lakeside traverse and out into the Xhiggy's Meadows area. The snow was too deep for me to make my way out to the Andreas Woods, so instead I just rode the powder back down on the open runs. For my second lap of Seventh, I repeated the Lakeside traverse part, but then pushed over to "Sluiceway" to get even more fresh. It was super satisfying! Unfortunately, after that I pretty much had to ride out and go to work. But that was OK, because it was getting super busy and I was pooched from being up so early! Plus, you know, someone's gotta do it! Anyways thanks for watching! Don't forget to like and subscribe! Filmed on a Insta 360 X4 on Blackcomb Mountain on February 23rd 2026 Cheers!
