We Stayed at TWA Hotel at JFK Airport - The Only Hotel In JFK Boundaries! Should You Stay?

In today's video we take you on a trip to the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport, this hotel opened in 2019 after a 3 year renovation. Initially having opened in 1962 as the Trans World Airlines Flight Center. TWA Hotel is located at Terminal 5 of John F Kennedy Airport and features 512 rooms set across 2 wings, Saarinen Wing and Hughes Wing. The design aesthetic and architecture are reminiscent of the 1960's with design cues that really take you back in time to when the Flight Center was in operation. When the hotel was renovated many of the original decorative items were brought back to the building and upgraded to bring it up to new standards with the rooms being made into Ultra Quiet rooms! As we enter the hotel we get to walk down the jetway towards the lobby area of the hotel which has been completely upgraded with a new check in area, a grab and go food hall and authentic classic Solari split-flip flight board! Located around the hotel you also have tons of cues to the original Flight Center too with planes, classic cars and even a museum exhibit documenting the past. As we move to the room as give you a tour of the ultra minimalist decor, as you enter the room you've got an incredibly spacious room with a large double bed, you've got a large flat screen TV on the wall and a seating area next to the panoramic window and also a desk area too. As we move around the room we have a weird closet and also a Martini area rather than a coffee machine, the bathroom is spacious with a nice walk in shower and sink area. Unfortunately as we were only staying for the one night we didn't get to try out all of the amenities but the hotel does have a rooftop infinity pool, gym and meeting spaces capable of holding 1600 people! You also have Connie, a Lockheed Constellation L-1649A that's been converted into a cocktail bar! The hotel is located only 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan so you're perfectly located for the short stop over in New York City! Though the taxi ride is $50! Enjoy! #TWAHotel #JFKAirport #NewYorkCity
