It's finished! It feels great to finally release this. While not one of my proudest works, I think it still does a lot of interesting stuff and will be very enjoyable to play. As you can see, I've gone for a more glowy/tech style, which fits the theme of AI and malware. Basically the plot is that you, the player, are a malicious software attempting to hack into Geometry Dash's fictional generative AI model, and stop it from scraping more creators' levels for training data. I believe I've adhered to my resolution to not take too much inspiration from other creators, which is ironic considering this is for a sampling CC. However, the core ideas and style choice are all original, and the samples are only there to strengthen the level concept. Hopefully this places higher than the level I made for Audieo's last cc, a stroll at midnight🙏. It definitely won't place 1st though, especially since I recently won the space GCC. Also, the samples aren't exactly used in the same way as in other entries I've been seeing. I tried to use the idea of sampling from other creators as a device to illustrate how generative AI models often profit off unconsenting artists' work.
