February 8, 2026 Sermon Title: The Challenge of Vulnerability Sermon Series: Made to Belong Thanks for joining us online at Cornerstone. Most of us want real connection, but we keep people at a safe distance. We show up smiling, we say we are fine, and we act like we have it all together while quietly carrying struggles, shame, and burdens on our own. In this message from our Made to Belong series, we will talk about one of the hardest and most important practices in a Jesus-centered community, vulnerability. Not forced sharing and not fake openness, but the kind of honesty that breaks shame, builds trust, and creates true belonging. We will see why pride and shame keep us hiding, how many believers live forgiven but still feel trapped, and how understanding our identity as children of God gives us the freedom to step into the light. We will also talk about what it looks like to be safe people for others when they open their hearts. Jesus did not hide His emotions, and He did not hide from our brokenness.
