We went for a day trip from Munich to Geroldsee also known as Wagenbrüchsee close to Klais in Bavaria. It is really one among the hidden Gems in Germany as very few people know about it. Near this beautiful lake, we also went to Barmsee. It takes hardly 2 hours to reach Klais from Munich by train. We went walking towards Geroldsee and Barmsee from Klais train station. You can also take your bicycle to this lake if you wish. It is a perfect destination to be during summer with very few people around. If you don't know, See means Lake in the German language.
