Globalisation| Class XII Semester IV WBCHSE| Political Science| One Shot Video| By Amaan Sir Globalisation means the process by which different countries of the world become closely connected with each other. It involves free movement of goods, services, capital, technology and ideas across national borders. Because of globalisation, the world has become like a single global village where countries depend on one another for trade and development. There are many reasons for the growth of globalisation. Rapid development in transport and communication has made international trade easier and faster. The spread of the internet, mobile phones and digital technology has connected people worldwide. Liberal economic policies adopted by many countries have also encouraged foreign trade and investment. Globalisation has greatly affected the economy of different countries. It has increased international trade and foreign investment. Many multinational companies set up industries in developing countries, creating job opportunities. Consumers get a wide variety of goods at competitive prices. However, small local industries often face tough competition. Globalisation has influenced social and cultural life. People are exposed to different cultures, lifestyles and ideas. International food habits, fashion and entertainment have become popular. While this promotes cultural exchange, it sometimes weakens local traditions and values. Cultural uniformity is a growing concern in many societies. In conclusion, globalisation has both advantages and disadvantages. It promotes economic growth, technological progress and global cooperation. At the same time, it creates inequality and threatens local cultures and industries. Therefore, globalisation should be managed carefully so that its benefits reach all sections of society equally. #globalisation #class12sem4 #wbchse #politicalscience Hello Students, My Name is Amaan Sir.
