The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office found a body inside the house that caught fire in Clay. The sheriff's office said investigators are working to determine if it's the body of Mark Harrington, 58. The Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office will test for identification. The office noted that due to how "badly" the home was burned, it could not identify the body quickly. The office initially issued a public safety alert, believing that Harrington was armed and dangerous, after he could not be found following the fire at Dampier Circle. It was canceled around 2:12 p.m. Earlier in the day, the sheriff's office said it was looking for Harrington, who was identified as an armed suspect following the house fire on Dampier Circle.
