Ultramagic Experience Tanzania 2021 - Balloon flights over Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar

'Penye nia pana njia' ('Where there is a will, there is a way') is a proverb in Swahili that perfectly describes the Ultramagic Experience we lived in Tanzania last December 2021. The goal of any Ultramagic Experience is to bring together a group of extraordinary pilots from around the world, to make challenging flights in unique and emblematic places. The two objectives we had set up for this occasion were achieved with great success. The first one was to fly over mount Kilimanjaro for the second time after we did it in 2011. All balloons approached Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, and some were able to cross the main crater. The second one was to cross the Ngorongoro crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera on the planet, for the first time in history. The journey finished in Zanzibar, with two spectacular flights above the palm trees and crossing Chwaka Bay. We have no words that can describe the beauty that we enjoyed and the excitement we felt. We satisfied the curiosity of knowing what lies behind our daily horizon, and we came out enriched of this amazing and special experience. We want to thank all the participants for their commitment during the Ultramagic Experience Tanzania 2021 and hope we can organize another one in the future!
