A big problem with the “Push to Partner” is that Twitch Streamers start on the platform, and then it's really, really easy to make Affiliate, and then it's really really hard to make Partner, and since there is nothing in between the discouragement is already built into the process. Most streamers need to realize they are probably never going to make Partner. In April there were 9,355,305 monthly broadcasters and 51,500 Twitch Partners, which means that only 0.5% of Twitch Streamers are in the partner program. Keep that in mind for some perspective. Note: I didn’t do the Con for being a Twitch Partner in the video. Ooops. The biggest con for being a Twitch Partner is that you can only stream on Twitch.
