This video showcases the #ItiwitX500 inflatable #dropstitch kayak in waves, using a somewhat choppy section from a June 3rd-4th 2023 50 km archipelago kayaking expedition. These waves are not particularly tough or high, but enough to get a sense of how the kayak responds. The video presents conclusions about the #Itiwit X500 Strenfit specifically, and a few things to think about while #paddling in rowdy waters. This is done by a paddler experienced with the X500 and handling these types of waves. Make sure to stay safe and within your comfort zone and skill level, and if paddling on open water, practicing re-entry (getting back in the kayak) is important, as well as taking into account the risks of cold water.
