The Blackthorn Blades serve as the crown jewel of the collection, introducing a dual-wielding melee style that feels like a more aggressive, organic evolution of the Kuronami blades. The weapon consists of a primary dagger and a secondary curved blade, both forged from dark, tempered steel and entwined with sharp, sentient vines that pulse with a rhythmic violet glow. The pull-out animation is incredibly slick, with the agent flicking the blades into a reverse grip as the vines momentarily tighten around their wrists, accompanied by the distinct sound of snapping branches. During the inspect animation, the agent twirls the blades while the vines writhe and grow, momentarily blooming small, dark buds before retreating back into the metal. The light attack features quick, overlapping slashes that leave behind a trail of floating black petals and thorny residue, while the heavy attack is a powerful dual-stab that mimics the "ensnaring" theme of the bundle.
