Many years ago, I and my husband lived off of our $6,000 savings and then after that stressful year, I ended up pouring all my money that I could earn onto our mortgage so we could pay that off as quickly as possible. Well, with hubby back in school and work hours shorter, we're learning how to live as simply as possible, again! But this time, I am documenting our step by step process. I was asked how I managed our budget on a pennies income and here I am going to try and share that process with you. I am completely open about our finances here and that is a very difficult approach to take. I am opening myself up to criticism and all that based on what we choose to do. I am human which means I am going to make mistakes. Lastly, this is a month by month project, step by step. This isn't a "this is completed and here is how I did it!" I am in completely different circumstances this round. I am in a town with not many resources at my finger tips or family, I have more children, and we are at different stages now.
