Scene from the 1932's film „Ein Blonder Traum („A Blonde's Dream" / „Reve blonde" / „Sogno Biondo") starring Willy Fritsch, Lilian Harvey and Willi Forst. While the actors are sitting on the roof of the old Marstall in the middle of Berlin you get some impressions on how Berlin looked like before the whole area was destroyed later on. For example you can see the top of the famous castle which was destroyed by the communist regime even after WW2. The film was a huge success at that time. When it premiered September 1932 in Berlin, police had to close the roads to the film theatre because thousands of people wanted to see the actors arriving. The two songs performed, "Irgendwo auf der Welt" and "Wir zahlen keine Miete mehr", have been written by Werner Richard Heymann. The film was directed by Paul Martin.
