There are very few videos with actual demos of this great little random machine, so I made one. Here I'm taking a look at Doppler's slimline 4HP noise and random voltage generator. Honestly, I bought this thinking it was a sample and hold with a free noise source thrown in! It's not, but it does a ton of cool stuff and I've been using it a ton. After a brief overview, I walk through a sizeable selection of the kinds of noise, voltages and all-round modulation fun this thing has to offer. Throughout this video the noise being generated by the module's core is displayed on screen as an audio scope. Having played with this a lot recently, I wanted to get across the main advantage of this module; that you can make subtle (and not so subtle!) adjustments to the frequency and character of the control voltages being generated by playing with the blue/red blend. I've been using this a lot in patches lately, really lets you dial in just the randomness you want. Like and subscribe and all that if you enjoy this, and if you make it through all the noise demos you've done pretty well ;) Cheers!
