{smallscreen HD, please} Hello, Ugh, before I even get started, sorry about some of the clip quality - I couldn't find a link to the episode anywhere so I screen recorded and as you can see...yikes. So, I'm sorry for your eyeballs, but these two are so cute I hope that makes up for it. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT EPISODE?! Like, sure it didn't really progress the overall storyline or anything...but it was so great! Every single actor knocked it out of the park, completely (by the way, Jesse learned how to do those bat tricks in just two weeks??? Because of course Brainy would know how to do bat tricks, why not?). And the Brainia content?! The 9 to 5 scene? It could've been such a disaster, but it so worked...and I am absolutely never getting over the way Brainy looked at Nia towards the end. My poor heart. Have you guys seen the promo pictures for the next episode?! Eeeeek! Also, Nia's being Kara's mentor was adorable, and I loved seeing that dynamic reversed, and both Nia and Kara getting to just enjoy their powers for once. I don't think we've EVER seen that from Nia, so that was sweet. And Nia listening to her mother's voicemail? My poor heart - the whole arc with her being frustrated with her lack of understanding of her dreams is just so painfully well done. And Brainy trying out all the different coping mechanisms?! (By the way, we deserved to see Brainy in glee club, I'm just throwing that out there). Anyway, this video is a bit of a mess - there's a reason I don't generally work with fast(er) songs - but I wanted to do something a little bit lighter, to match the episode (okay, fine, I'd actually decided on this song a couple of days in advance of the episode), and it just fit...who am I to say no when I'm actually inspired?! Even with the text - and if you know me, you know how I feel about text (and overlay) work!
