Ever wanted to know exactly what you get in a Mystery Tackle Box if you kept your subscription for a full year? Well here is what a full year of the inshore saltwater Mystery Tackle Boxes look like. Certainly has to be the Ultimate Mystery Tackle Box unboxing video. As you will see in the video, Mystery Tackle Box was pretty consistent in terms of always having at least one soft plastic, one hard plastic lure, one misc lure, and one hook. I definitely noticed a trend in terms of certain brands making their way into the boxes (lots of Egret lures and Zman lures), and I was glad to see that there were many lures that I had never tried (or even heard of) before. Of course, the upside of a Mystery Tackle Box subscription is that you get new lures and tackle to try out every month (at a discount compared to paying full price at a retailer). The bad news is that most of us don't need more tackle (which is why I all of a sudden woke up one day with 10 unopened Mystery Tackle Boxes). What we really need is help finding fish and help knowing when to use which lure along with how to most effectively use it. I found that once I simplified my tackle down to a handful of lures, I caught more fish. That being said, I am excited to try out a few of these lures from the Mystery Tackle Boxes. If the ones I have my eye on work well, then I will replace them with my current go-to lures.
