What an incredible day it was! We witnessed a historic moment as Skyline Queenstown embarked on an extraordinary helicopter operation for the installation of our new towers. The Bell UH-1 Iroquois helicopter (aka the 'Huey') took to the skies, bringing a sense of excitement and awe to the Queenstown CBD. The distinctive sound of the Huey's rotor design and engine noise echoed through the air, captivating everyone in its path. As the sun rose on that memorable Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, our team worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and efficient installation. Tower by tower, the Huey gracefully maneuvered through the steep face of Bob's Peak, replacing three towers with precision and skill. By the time lunchtime arrived, our mission was accomplished, marking a significant milestone for Project Skyline.
