Parvin covers the inner walls of her shelter with straw and mud to stop the cold mountain winds from entering. Outside, she prepares the roof by gathering fresh green grass from the high Zagros hills and layering it over wooden beams to seal the top of the shelter. Alongside her daily struggles, Parvin prepares traditional flatbread over an open fire, fishes in the wild river, and later grills the fresh fish beside the flames — a simple but powerful moment of survival.
