Colombo, Sri Lanka Walking Tour [4K]

Join me for a 4K walking tour of Colombo which is Sri Lanka's largest city and legislative and judicial capital and the heart of the nation's economic, commercial and trading activity. In this walking tour I will begin by walking along the popular Galle Face Green which is a large oceanside urban park astride the Indian Ocean with its famous Galle Face Hotel and excellent views of the city skyline. Then I will continue turning right at the entrance of the busy Colombo Port passing the historic Old Parliament Building and some of the city's most iconic high end hotels before entering Sri Lanka's financial core that being the Fort District which is the central business district of Colombo with its many banks and other institutions such as the headquarters of Bank of Ceylon. I will then have a look into the Pettah district passing by the Fort Railway Station along the way which is home to the city's lively and bustling open air markets and bizarres before then looking at the historic Old Dutch Hospital Precinct and many of the other historical and colonial buildings of central Colombo. I will then finish by walking back towards the other side of Galle Face Green passing more of Colombo's most prominent commercial institutions and hotels in the process such as the One Galle Face Mall, the largest of its kind in Sri Lanka!
