Working hard to provide each of our patients with a better quality of life is something that our doctors strive for each day at Weill Cornell Medicine. At the Weill Cornell Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, we have an incredible team of doctors, nurses, social workers and neurosurgeons who are working together to provide the highest quality of care for our epilepsy patients. For patients like Carrie Pasch, who was diagnosed with this common neurological disorder at the age of 2, this work can be life-changing. After 25 years of taking a daily medication to control her seizures, Carrie began working with Dr. Nitin Kumar Sethi to find a more advanced treatment option that would allow her to plan for a future that could possibly include children. As a patient of Weill Cornell Medicine for more than 16 years, Carrie has seen first-hand the compassion and skill with which our team treats every patient. With the help of her team of doctors, Carrie’s seizures are under control, and she is now healthy enough to begin a family.
