There are 2 varieties of surgical management, that is to relieve the sphincteric spasm which are very tight, so we can either cut the sphincter that is called as lateral sphincterotomy where you cut the sphincter to make the sphincter lose or we can stretch the sphincter in such a way that they will become lose enough. So that is called as anal dilatation or sphincter tone optimisation. So these are the surgical procedures which will be done and most of them if done properly will give a permanent cure.
