Hydrogen economy is picking up in Poland | The Bottom Line

Poland is taking its first steps towards building a hydrogen economy, with Polish companies showcasing newly-developed hydrogen-powered buses and trains. These were tested to the limits by local businesses. The biggest energy company in the country – Orlen – has been slowly rolling out facilities to produce green hydrogen and hydrogen fuel stations, drawing on its extensive experience in dealing with grey hydrogen. In May, Orlen also invested in a Norwegian startup manufacturing electrolyzers – machines used to split hydrogen from water.
