Arriving in O’ahu, Hawaii at the Hilton Hawaiian Village | Hawaiian Adventures Day 1

It’s time for a vacation… a Hawaiian vacation that is! On the first day of our travels, we took off on an airplane from the Detroit airport all the way to beautiful O’ahu, Hawaii where we took a shuttle to our hotel, the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikīkī Beach Resort. Unfortunately I had some pretty bad jet lag from the flight but it was still a fun day full of touring the expansive resort. We stayed in the Rainbow Tower, one of the most iconic buildings in all of O’ahu, and even though our room was one of the older ones, the view of the Pacific Ocean was simply unmatched. After shopping at the ABC Store, having dinner at the Tapa Bar & Grill and walking the beach after sunset, it was a fantastic first day in the Aloha state!
